NORTHERN LIGHT 2012
First light painting practical experience in extreme conditions during the long nights of the polar winter. Temperature between 4 ° and -25 ° C. Oslo / Lofoten / Narvik / Tromso / Abisko
It was in February 2012 that Konte RAST could realize his project through a rich journey of light encounters. Through its stops in La Solskidden Fabriken (sun plant) Nesodden / Oslo, the Arctic Circle in the direction of the Lofoten Islands, Narvik, Tromso in Norway and in the Abisko National Park in Swedish Lapland.
All these steps in these places have dépaysants allowed the artist to explore this polar environment and confirm its obvious attraction to this bright world that makes him so echo. This first expedition was the opportunity to combine the light painting, dancing practice transcended by the artist appearances now appoint Princess Aurora.
Following this first experience, winter expeditions to the polar circle become an annual pilgrimage to light the artist. Scandinavian being immersed in long winter nights are very sensitive to light painting.
